Ruth Holzer is the author of six chapbooks, most recently, Home and Away and A Face in the Crowd. Her poems have appeared in journals such as Poet Lore, Faultline, Exit 13, Connecticut River Review, Southern Poetry Review, Journal of New Jersey Poets, and Blue Unicorn, as well as in many anthologies. A multiple Pushcart Prize nominee, among her awards are the Edgar Allan Poe Memorial Prize from the Poetry Society of Virginia and the Tanka Splendor Award.
