Until his retirement in 2007, Randel McCraw Helms was a professor of English at Arizona State University. His published works include a chapbook of poems, Animal Prayers, plus the books Tolkien’s World, Who Wrote the Gospels?, The Bible Against Itself, and Gospel Fictions. He lives near Phoenix with his wife and cats.
