Wesley R. Bishop is an assistant professor of American and Public History at Jacksonville State University, Alabama. His previous books include Liberating Fat Bodies: Social Media Censorship and Body Size Activism (Palgrave, 2024), COVID19 Haiku: Short Poems in a Long Year (North Meridian Press, 2024), and The Long March of Coxey’s Army: The Path of Protest from Populism to the New Deal (University of Illinois Press, forthcoming). He is the founding and managing editor of North Meridian Press.
