Theresa Rogers is a poet and teacher who splits her time between Vancouver, Canada and Wellfleet, Massachusetts. She grew up with her mother and sisters in several small towns in Westchester County, New York where she was able to play freely in backyards, roam the woods, and skate across frozen lakes.
She has published poems in The English Bay Review, Cape Cod Poetry Review, Uppagus, Cathexis Northwest, San Diego Review, Sheila-Na-Gig, and the Cape Cod Times Poetry Page. She won second prize, emerging poets, in the Vancouver City Poems contest. She received an MFA in poetry from Antioch, Los Angeles, and is professor emeritus at the University of British Columbia. She currently serves on the board of poetry in canada and as poetry editor for the Cape Cod Review.
