Diana Cohn is an educator, philanthropic leader, leadership coach, and award-winning author of children’s books. Her storytelling spans popular science writing on native pollination for The American Bee Journal and award-winning picture books that include Dream Carver, Si Se Puede! Yes We Can! Janitor Strike in LA, Roses for Isabella, and Crane Boy. Since childhood, she has loved reading and writing poetry and has incorporated poetry into her work throughout her career.
Diana holds a B.A in Human Ecology from the College of the Atlantic and an M.A. in Educational Policy from Teachers College, Columbia University. She serves on the board of the Magnum Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports photojournalism and digital storytelling around the globe. She is an advisor to the Bhutan Foundation and NABU, a tech-enabled publisher of culturally relevant multilingual children’s books. She co-hosts through healingcirclesglobal.org a weekly healing circle for people living with cancer. She lives with her husband in the San Francisco Bay Area.
