Evangeline Sanders is a poet from Charleston, South Carolina. She received her MFA from the University of Alabama, where she taught English classes and served as an assistant editor for the Black Warrior Review. Her debut chapbook, Flight of the Quetzal, was published by Finishing Line Press in 2023. Her poetry has appeared in various literary journals, including Delta Poetry Review, Sky Island Journal, and Littoral Magazine. Currently, she lives in Columbia, South Carolina and teaches first-year writing at the University of South Carolina.
