Hannah Seelman lives in southwest Michigan with her husband, three-year-old daughter, and two chaotic dogs. She is a student at Western Michigan University, where she is earning an MFA in both poetry and teaching writing composition.
She's active in the creative writing community running workshops, giving readings, and volunteering for Third Coast Magazine. Although she loves her work, her favorite time of day is when she can simply read a book with a dog sleeping on her lap while her husband makes his incredibly deliciout burritos. Her poetry is published in Ink Nest Poetry, Thistle Magazine, Feminist Wire, and was a Finalist for Dreamer Poetry competition spring 2025.
