G. Greene is a late-to-the-game poet, born, raised, and now wrapping up his existence in a small town that calls itself a city in Western Massachusetts.

His earliest work, written as a child, was a simple rhyming poem commemorating the retirement of his elementary school Custodian, Mr. Stoddard. The note of thanks he received in return remains a treasured keepsake.

A Psychology major/English minor in college, later receiving an MBA degree, he has always, if somewhat sporadically, been a writer, even though the majority of his writing was in support of business proposals and marketing materials in his career as an executive manager, and later, a self-employed small-business consultant.

He met his incredible, accomplished wife, Jean M. Fielding, when they worked for the same aerospace and industrial hose company, before she resigned to pursue a degree in the law and then a 2nd career as a highly regarded criminal appellate attorney.

The loss of his wife in 2018 started his true journey as a sad poet.
