John David Muth was born and raised in central New Jersey. He has worked in the field of higher education for over twenty-five years. Writing, reading, hiking, and taking road trips are his favorite distractions.

Muth is a member of the Delaware Valley Poets/U.S. 1 Poet’s Cooperative. His work has appeared in such journals as Misfit Magazine, Verse-Virtual, and U.S. 1 Worksheets.
