Issa M. Lewis is the author of Infinite Collisions (Finishing Line Press, 2017). She is the 2013 recipient of the Lucille Clifton Poetry Prize and a runner-up for the 2017 Lois Cranston Memorial Poetry Prize. In 2019, she served as Artist-In-Residence for the Mackinac State Historic Parks on Mackinac Island. Her poems have previously appeared in Rust+Moth, North American Review, The Banyan Review, Linden Avenue Literary Journal, and Panoply, amongst others. She lives in West Michigan with her husband and two sons, where she currently teaches at Davenport University.
