A native of the Florida Gulf Coast, Jeff Newberry is the author of a chapbook, A Visible Sign (Finishing Line 2008). His writing has appeared in a variety of print and online journals, including Anti-, Barn Owl Review, The Chattahoochee Review, The Cortland Review, The Florida Review, Hobble Creek Review, Memorious, New South, Saw Palm: Florida Literature and Art, and Waccamaw: A Journal of Contemporary Literature as well as in the anthologies Sundress Best of the Net 2008 and Aspects of Robinson: Homage to Weldon Kees (Backwaters Press 2010). Twice nominated for a Pushcart Prize, he serves as the president of the Gulf Coast Association of Creative Writing Teachers. He lives with his wife and son in Tifton, Georgia, where he teaches composition, creative writing, and literature at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
