Linda Freudenberger is a retired occupational therapist residing in Lexington, Kentucky. She is enrolled in the Bluegrass Writer’s Studio MFA program in Creative Writing at Eastern Kentucky University, where she received the 2026 Emerging Writer Award for Poetry.
Her first chapbook, The Other Side of the Bed and Beyond (Finishing Line Press, 2024), is about her grief after the sudden loss of her husband and how she moved forward. Her poems are also published in journals and anthologies such as The Yearling, Poets in the Pines, Highland Park Poetry, and LexPoMo.
