Dory Warner is an author and staunch feminist based in New York City. She writes primarily young adult fiction and poetry, both of which she does with hefty assistance from her pug, Norbert. Two years ago she made herself a promise: to finish her poetry manuscript. Grippy Socks is the fulfillment of that promise. Last year she left her full-time job and now balances two part-time jobs with her writing. She is currently at work on a young adult thriller.
