Cindy Buchanan grew up in Alaska, has a B.A. in English from Gonzaga University, and studies poetry with Jeanine Walker. She is a member of two monthly poetry groups and lives in Seattle. Her work has been published in ONE ART, Hole in the Head Review, The Inflectionist Review, Cirque, and other journals. Her poetry has been nominated for Best of the Net. Her chapbook is Learning to Breathe (Finishing Line Press, 2023).
