David P. Kozinski was a finalist for the Inlandia (California) Institute’s 2020 Hillary Gravendyke Prize for the original manuscript of this book. He is the recipient of an Established Professional poetry fellowship from the Delaware Division of the Arts. His full-length book of poems, Tripping Over Memorial Day was published by Kelsay Books and he won the Dogfish Head Poetry Prize, which included publication of his chapbook, Loopholes (Broadkill Press). Expressive Path, a non-profit that facilitates youth participation in the arts, named him 2018 Mentor of the Year. For his poetry and visual art, Kozinski received the Dr. Eugene Szatkowski Award from the Americans of Polish Descent Cultural Society of Delaware. He was selected by Robert Bly to attend his workshop sponsored by the American Poetry Review. He serves on the editorial board of Philadelphia Stories and is Art Editor of Schuylkill Valley Journal. He is the resident poet at Rockwood Park & Museum in New Castle County, Delaware.
