Joanna de Witt was born in Manhattan and is a lifetime resident of New York City. She was an educator from kindergarten through college for approximately 30 years. She was educated at Fordham University and studied for her Master’s in Dramatic Literature at New York University. She also did graduate work in Philosophy and Psychology at the New School of Social Research.
Currently, she is engaged in writing novels, short stories, and poetry.
She loves classical music concerts and going to the opera. She is a member of the New York Botanical Gardens. Joanna de Witt is a member of St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church in Manhattan, New York.
