John David Muth is a lifelong resident of central New Jersey. He has been an academic advisor at Rutgers University for the past sixteen years. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, horseback riding, and volunteering for environmental and philanthropic causes. Much of his poetry revolves around satire, particularly romantic relationships, modern values, and the inner workings of higher education. He is a member of the U.S. 1 Poet’s Cooperative. His work has appeared in such journals as Section 8 Magazine, Verse-Virtual, San Pedro River Review, and U.S. 1 Worksheets. His first collection, A Love for Lavender Dragons, was published by Aldrich Press in 2016.
