Anita S. Pulier has a BA from New York University and a JD from New York Law School. Anita was a U.S. United Nations representative for The Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom. After practicing law in New York City, she retired and traded legal writing for poetry. She and her husband live in New York City and Southern California.

Anita has written three chapbooks: Perfect Diet (Finishing Line Press), The Lovely Mundane (Finishing Line Press, 2013), and Sounds of Morning (Finishing Line Press, 2017). Her books The Butcher’s Diamond (2018) and Toast (2021) were published by Finishing Line Press. Kelsay Books published her third book, Paradise Reexamined in 2023.

Anita’s poems can be found online and in print in riverbabble, Fjords Review, Evening Street Review, Los Angeles Times, Askew, The Linnet’s Wings, Oberon, Avalon Literary Review, Extracts Daily Dose of Lit, and The Buddhist Poetry Review among others and in several anthologies. She has been the featured poet in Cultural Daily and The Writer’s Almanac.
