Brian Palmer has lived most of his life in the western portions of the United States, working a variety of jobs before settling into a career as a high school English teacher. Now retired, he enjoys spending time outside, where he’s so often exhilarated and inspired by nature. He also appreciates quiet hours reading, studying, and writing. His debut poetry collection is Prairiehead (Kelsay Books, 2023). He currently lives in Juneau, Alaska.
