Paul J. Willis has published seven previous collections of poetry, the most recent of which are Somewhere to Follow and Little Rhymes for Lowly Plants. He is also the author of an eco-fantasy novel, The Alpine Tales, the YA Elizabethan time-travel novel All in a Garden Green, and the essay collections To Build a Trail and Bright Shoots of Everlastingness. In addition, he is co-editor of the anthologies In a Fine Frenzy: Poets Respond to Shakespeare and A Radiant Birth: Advent Readings for a Bright Season. He is an emeritus professor of English at Westmont College and a former poet laureate of Santa Barbara, California, where he lives with his wife, Sharon, near the old mission.
