Neil Creighton is a 5th-generation Australian on his paternal and maternal sides. He is a teacher, builder, gardener, bushwalker, cyclist, and vermiculturalist. He has a great passion for social justice. For fifty-two years, he has had the privilege of living with and deeply loving his wife, Diana, his north star, his joy, the true source of his delight. They live on a small rural property outside the historical village of Wilberforce, 60 kms northwest of Sydney, Australia. There they have raised their four children, with their own hands built their house, planted a small orchard, grown their vegetables and created a garden of winding paths and rock walls, filling it with a mixture of indigenous and exotic plants.
From there he has sent his poems into the world, and their publication has brought him not only joy but, more importantly, many friends in the worldwide community of poets. His books are Loving Leah (Kelsay Book, 2020), Awakening (Cyberwit, 2020), Rock Dreaming (Kelsay Books, 2021), Morteza (Kelsay Books, 2022), and The Colquhoun Chronicles (Kelsay Books, 2023).
