After a teaching career, Kit Zak and her husband moved to Lewes, Delaware, and to her utter delight, she found herself in a writing community. Kit spends time visiting grandchildren in three states, writing, and participating in local causes fostering ecology and racial justice. In 2015 Kit was published in five anthologies as well as The Lyric, The Broadkill Review, California Quarterly, Portage, Newversenews, Your Daily Poem, Albatross and Earth’s Daughters. She has been chosen three times to work with the poet laureate of Delaware.
