Linda Whittenberg’s poems find their roots in Illinois black loam but spread to both coasts and across the ocean to Ireland, where she has traveled many times to study poetry and explore the land of her ancestry.
Writing in the early hours each day has resulted in the publication of six volumes of poems. Her work has been published widely in journals and anthologies, most notably in Rattle, Spoon River Review, and Revival, an Irish publication.
After retiring from Unitarian Universalist ministry, she returned to Santa Fe with her husband, Bob Wilber. There she became an avid quilter and horsewoman. After her husband’s death in 2021, she moved to the Denver Area to be nearer to three grown children and their families.
