Lee Desrosiers is a proud New Yorker who moved north to hear the crickets and has lived in New England for the past 38 years. Lee recently won Honorable Mention in the Tom Howard/Margaret Reid Contest for an excerpt from a long poem in progress.
Their poetry has been published in numerous journals and anthologies. Three full-length poetry books, the latest of which is Keeping Planes in the Air (2020), are from Salmon Poetry in Ireland. Two chapbooks are published by Glass Lyre Press.
Lee is founding editor and publisher of two literary journals. The first, Naugatuck River Review, is a journal of narrative poetry. The second, Wordpeace.co, is a multi-genre online journal dedicated to peace and social justice.
She teaches Creative Writing and English Composition at Westfield State University and has taught Poetry in the Lesley University MFA program. Lee holds an MFA in Poetry from New England College.
