Chuck Madansky finds solace and inspiration living by a pond on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. A former virologist and currently semi-retired as a psychotherapist, Chuck received the 2010 Cornerstone Award of the Barnstable County Human Rights Commission for his efforts to raise awareness of and bring an end to US torture. His poetry has been published in Passager, Pure Slush, Muddy River Poetry Review, and the Cape Cod Poetry Review and has been featured as part of Poetry Sunday, a production of Cape Cod’s NPR station. The grandfather of 6, Chuck, lives with his wife, the poet and playwright Wilderness Sarchild, and their beloved dog Ruby.
