Jean Anne Feldeisen lives with her husband of more than fifty years on a farm in Maine. She is a retired psychotherapist, a grandmother, and a writer.

For her seventieth birthday, Jean self-published a memoir, Dear Milly. She has written essays for Next Avenue, Chicken Soup for the Soul, and The Dirty Spoon. Jean has been a host for the Crows Feet: Life as We Age Podcast since 2022. Her poetry has been published in The Orchards Poetry Journal, Rising Phoenix Review, Vita Poetica, Neologism, The Eunoia Review, The Raven’s Perch, Bracken, The Hopper, and Spank the Carp, among other publications and anthologies.

Her first poetry chapbook, Not All Are Weeping, was released in May of 2023 by Main Street Rag Publishing Company. In September of 2023, she and her friend, Argy Nestor, self-published their collection of poetry and images, Catching Fireflies. Jean is crazy about knitting, yoga, playing classical piano, and making special meals for her family.
