Amy Tudor’s first collection of poetry, A Book of Birds, was the winner of the Liam Rector First Book Prize in Poetry and was published by Briery Creek Press in 2008. She holds both a Ph.D. in interdisciplinary humanities and an MFA in creative writing, and she is a recipient of grants from both the Kentucky Arts Council and the Virginia Commission for the Arts. In addition to her poetry, Tudor has published fiction, creative nonfiction, photographs, and songs. She teaches creative writing and interdisciplinary courses in death studies at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky.
