Terry Godbey is the author of Hold Still, a finalist for the Main Street Rag Poetry Book Award; Beauty Lessons, winner of the Quercus Review Poetry Book Award; Behind Every Door, winner of the Slipstream Poetry Chapbook Contest; and Flame. She is also a winner of the Rita Dove Poetry Award. Her poems have been featured in Rattle, Poet Lore, Crab Creek Review, Rosebud, The Florida Review, and many other journals. Her work includes a surprising number of windows and doors, and she would no doubt write more if her home did not provide expansive views of dense woods, a pond, and a garden with busy bird feeders. She lives in Orlando, Florida.
