Lynne Santy Tanner was born in New York City where she attended The Chapin School. She graduated from Hollins College, Roanoke, Virginia, with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a minor in Dance. She has served as choreographer for the Rutherford County Arts Council for fifty years. Her poetry has been published by Finishing Line Press, Kakalak, QuillsEdge, and Hermit Feathers Press. She lives in Rutherfordton, North Carolina.
