Lois Marie Harrod is the author of eighteen other poetry collections. She received five fellowship-residencies from the Virginia Center for Creative Arts and three fellowships from the New Jersey Council on the Arts. Hundreds of her poems and several short stories have been published in literary journals and online ezines from American Poetry Review to Zone 3.
A Dodge poet, she has read four times at Geraldine R. Dodge Poetry Festivals. In the last 20 years, Harrod, a life-long educator, has taught creative writing at The College of New Jersey, literature courses at the Evergreen Forum of the Center for Modern Aging Princeton, as well as poetry-writing workshops for Murphy Writing and classroom residencies.
