John Milkereit resides in Houston, Texas, working as a mechanical engineer and has completed an MFA in Creative Writing at the Rainier Writing Workshop. His work has appeared in various literary journals, including The Orchards Poetry Journal, The Comstock Review, Panoply, and The Ekphrastic Review. He has published two chapbooks (Pudding House Press) and four full-length collections of poems, including Lost Sonnets for My Unvaccinated Lover (Kelsay Books, 2023).
