Elissa Greenwald has a Ph.D. from Yale University and taught English for over thirty years to high school, college, and adult learners. In 2024, she received an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from William Paterson University. In addition to writing poetry, she writes fiction, creative nonfiction, essays, and reviews of art and literature for such publications as Brevity, Calyx, Dominique Literary Magazine, Miracle Monocle, Oyster River Pages, Panorama, and Rain Taxi. She is completing a novel, The Blessed House, a family saga set on Cape Cod.
