
Kathryn Ridall, a poet and nonfiction writer, was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and moved to California in her twenties. She has published three chapbooks and two poetry anthologies as well as the award-winning prose book, Dreaming at the Gates: How Dreams Guide. For several years, she was the editor and publisher of Fae Press, a small press in Eugene that published Oregon poets.
Kathryn has worked in the mental health field since she was nineteen. Her writing and her work as a psychotherapist are the two wings of her creative life. She lives in Ventura, California.
