Batnadiv HaKarmi’s work has appeared in numerous literary journals, among them the Ilanot Review, Arc Poetry Magazine, Rogue Agent, and Belmont Story Review. Her biography of Holocaust rescue activist, Pinchas Rosenbaum, is upcoming from Gefen Publishing.
A writer and visual artist, Batnadiv studied painting at the New York Studio School, and holds an MA in Creative Writing from Bar Ilan University. She is the recipient of the Andrea Moriah Poetry Prize, and was shortlisted for the Brideport Prize for flash fiction, and Harbor Review’s Jewish Women’s Poetry Prize. Born in Stanford, California, she grew up in Jerusalem, where she currently resides with her husband and four young children.
