
Lynne Carol Austin lives in Wisconsin with her husband. She has four grown children and two grandchildren who are a source of delight. Austin is a member of Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets and The Wisconsin Writing Association.
She has published poetry in Blue Heron Review and Wisconsin Poets’ Calendar; short stories in Main Street Rag Literary Magazine; a short story C.D., Earth Spirituality; three children’s books, Edith Ann Marie—The Sun Is In My Heart, Tell Me A Story Mama—Little Berry and Mama Bear, and Francine and Hazel; two novels, Ten of Swords and Gull Soup. In her career as a registered nurse and alternative health practitioner, she published articles and chapters in alternative health magazines, along with a feature chapter in the book, The New Healers—Minds and Hands in Complementary Medicine by Dr. Barbara Stevens Barnum.
