Scarlett Peterson is a poet, writer, and lesbian. She is a doctoral candidate at Georgia State University. She received her MFA at Georgia College. She is the 2022 winner of The Robert V. Morea III Poetry Prize and the recipient of a fellowship with Oak Spring Garden Foundation.
