He retired as a social worker, running a program called Senior Solutions, where he also wrote grants and an advice column for seniors in a local paper. His first book, Dialogues with Light (Orchard Street Press), was published in 2019. Lew’s poems have appeared in Atlanta Review, Main Street Rag, Blue Mountain Review, Sky Island Journal, Pinyon, Plainsongs, POEM, Slipstream, The MacGuffin, and other journals, magazines, and anthologies.
