About Alba DiBello

Alba DiBello is an educator and founder of a distinguished school for young children and NJEEPRE, a professional organization for teachers. She is also a poet, as well as a long-time student of poetry.

She began exploring writing in Zoom workshops and was mentored by local poet Nan Bryan. Encouraged by Ed Ryterband, she has recently emerged into publishing her own work. Her poetry appears in US1 Worksheets and Patterson Literary Review. She has also shared her poetry at River Read Open Mic in Red Bank, NJ. The View from Over Here is her first published collection.

About Ed Ryterband

Ed Ryterband is a memoirist, standup comic, and psychologist as well as a poet. His poems appear in Patterson Literary Review, Two River Times, US1 Worksheets, and New Verse News. He has four collections of poetry, all from Kelsay Books: Life On Cloud Eight (2019); Beyond Cloud Eight (2020); Rain Witness (2022); and Equanimity (2025). Rain Witness was nominated in 2022 for The Pushcart Prize. Who They Were, a memoir about life under the influence of his immigrant parents, is forthcoming.
