
Priscilla Denby is a writer and painter who taught English for over twenty-five years. She studied poetry under Ruth Stone at Indiana University, where she won the Academy of American Poets First Prize and earned an MA in Writing and a PhD in Folklore. Her poetry has appeared in Poetry Northwest, Indiana Writes, Tiny Seed Journal, and elsewhere. She grew up in Yonkers, in the shadow of New York City, and now lives in California.
