Terry Allen was born in Brisbane, Australia in 1946. He was raised in Kansas City, Missouri and received his Ph.D. at Southern Illinois University in theatre arts. He is emeritus professor at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where he taught acting, directing and playwriting. His poems have appeared in numerous journals, including Popshot Quarterly, Into the Void and Main Street Rag. He lives in Columbia, Missouri with his wife Nancy and their dog Jayden.
