Jack e Lorts, a retired educator, lives in rural eastern Oregon with Celia, his wife of 63 years, and his 3 daughters, their spouses, and 23 grandkids nearby. He has published widely, if infrequently, in such publications as Arizona Quarterly, Kansas Quarterly, English Journal, Arsenic Lobster. Chiron Review, Rattle, Tipton Poetry Journal, Verse Virtual, and Verse Daily.
He is also the author of four earlier chapbooks, The Daughter Poems & Others . . . (Pudding House, 2008), The Meeting Place of Words (Pudding House, 2010), Dear Gilbert Sorrentino & Other Poems (Finishing Line Press, 2011), and, most recently, The Love Songs of Ephram Pratt (Uttered Chaos, 2019).
