Carla Drysdale’s first full-length collection of poems, Little Venus, was published in 2010 by Tightrope Books in Toronto. Her first chapbook of poems, Inheritance, came out with Finishing Line Press in 2016. Poems have appeared in numerous journals, including Canadian Literature, Cleaver Magazine, Global City Review, LIT, Literary Mama, the Literary Review of Canada, PRISM international, The Fiddlehead, and in the anthologies, Entering the Real World: VCCA Poets on Mt. San Angelo and Nasty Women Poets. In 2014 she was awarded the Earle Birney poetry prize for her poem, “Inheritance,” by PRISM international. Born in London, Ontario, she lives with her husband and two sons in Ornex, France.
