
Sarah Russell has returned to poetry after a career teaching, writing, and editing academic prose. She holds an MA in Mass Communication from the University of Denver and a PhD in Communication Theory from the University of Colorado.
Her poems have been published in Rattle, Poetry Breakfast, Misfit Magazine, Third Wednesday, Psaltery and Lyre, and many other print and online journals and anthologies. She is a Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net nominee. She has two other poetry collections—I lost summer somewhere and Today and Other Seasons (Kelsay Books, 2019 and 2020).
Sarah and her husband Roy Clariana recently moved from State College, Pennsylvania to Denver, Colorado to be near children and grandchildren.
