Ellen Pober Rittberg is an award-winning journalist whose essays and features about families and social trends have appeared in the New York Times, Reader’s Digest, HuffPost, NY Daily News, and other major platforms. She is the author of two humorous self-help books, Why Is Grandma Naked? Caring for Your Aging Parent (Amazon) and Thirty-Five Things Your Teen Won’t Tell You, So I Will (Turner Publishing). Her political plays, Sci Fi, and her #metoo play, Sabbath Elevator, have been performed in New York City and festivals and during the pandemic, on Zoom. A recipient of the Long Island Coalition For Fair Broadcasting FOLIO award Best Public Affairs Show for a live show she hosted and produced, The Changing Family, she lectures on caregiving, parenting and writing in a number of venues, including cruise ships.
