Reagan Upshaw was born raised in Texas. He attended Texas Tech University and the University of Chicago. He has made his living as an art dealer and art appraiser in New York. His articles, essays, and reviews of art and literature have appeared in Art in America, The Magazine Antiques, Poets & Writers, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Washington Post, and numerous other publications.
