Neil Creighton is an Australian poet with a passion for social justice. His work as a teacher has made him aware of the horror of inequality and how opportunity is too often directed by circumstance. Many of his poems reflect his joy in the natural world, especially the creatures and places of his native Australia. Environmental degradation is becoming increasingly important in his poetry. He has been widely published, both in print and online, most often in the USA, but also in Africa, India, and the UK. His chapbook, Earth Music, will be published by Praxis Magazine Online in 2020 and he is a Contributing Editor for Verse-Virtual, an online poetry journal.
