Risa Denenberg is an aging hippie poet currently living in the Pacific Northwest. She earns her keep as a nurse practitioner and spends most of her nonworking hours savoring solitude or reading and writing poetry. She is a moderator at The Gazebo, an online poetry board and reviews poetry for the American Journal of Nursing. Along with Mary Meriam and Jessica McFadden, she is an editor of Headmistress Press, dedicated to publishing lesbian poetry. Many of her poems have been published online and in journals over the past 20 years. She has two chapbooks, what we owe each other (The Lives You Touch Publications, 2013) and Blinded by Clouds (Hyacinth Girls Press, 2014).
