John David Muth was born and raised in central New Jersey. He has been an academic advisor at Rutgers University over twenty years. In addition to writing, he enjoys hiking, road trips, and volunteering for environmental causes in his spare time. He is a member of the U.S. 1 Poet’s Cooperative. His work has appeared in such journals as Better Than Starbucks!, Verse-Virtual, and U.S. 1 Worksheets. He is the author of five collections of poetry: A Love for Lavender Dragons (Aldrich Press, 2016), Inevitable Carbon (Aldrich Press, 2017), Odysseus in Absaroka (Aldrich Press, 2018), Reassure the Phoenix (Aldrich Press, 2019), and Dreams of a Viking Wedding (Aldrich Press, 2020).
