John Rynn Lysaght is a poet and fiction writer who began honing his craft while at university, graduating in 1968 with a degree in English and Classics. He went on to achieve a master’s in social work. He has enjoyed a rich work history as teacher, foster care worker, social work supervisor, therapist for community mental health, and probation officer. His publication credits in addition to the above include, The Galway Review, The New Ulster, The Greenwich Village Literary Review, The Raven’s Perch, and Nine Muses, among others. In his work, John seeks to invite the audience to participate in the experience of the word in real time—a collaboration.
