Kathleen Wedl’s poetry has been recognized in contests and journals. In 2020 she was chosen to participate in a year-long mentorship at the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis, which happened to coincide with a pandemic. Hence, poetry happens. During her 50 years as a nurse specializing in behavioral health, writing was a conduit between herself and her world, as her fifty plus published opinion page letters bear out. When not reading, writing, or dabbling with paint, you may find her in the kitchen stirring up a feast for friends and family
